On Tuesday, July 13, a resolution will be presented in Commissioner's Court, 411 Elm Street, at 9:00am, in honor of USMC Major General James L. Williams, Commanding General of the 4th Marine Division, to commemorate his long service and upcoming official retirement.
General Williams is a Dallas County resident and is planning to remain in Dallas County where he will pursue entrepreneurial opportunities and continue his fight for better wounded veteran care in the complex VA medical system. General Williams will be joined by his wife, Maria, and has agreed to remain afterwards for photos in the Court lobby.
