Snowball Express IV will occur here in Dallas from 9 to 13 Dec- with overseas families arriving on Dec 8th. Snowball is
"the Charity for the Children of our fallen military since 9/11"
and we bring these families from all over the world for a 4 day all expense paid trip near Christmas...
... to allow them to see they are not alone and that the country appreciates their sacrifice. Last year we had 1,437 children and surviving spouses from 97 airports and 7 foreign countries attend the event in CA. This year we have 531 families currently registered to attend.
We will be housing them in 5 separate hotels clustered around the Sheraton in downtown Dallas.
We have wonderful support from the hotels (free rooms- unheard of in this #) and lots of businesses. American Airline is giving us 7 free charters and multiple other tickets.
The Hotel Captains "manage" everything SBE/family related within the hotels 24 hours per day- have very close contact with all the families in their hotel and will have a life changing experience if they volunteer! It is a huge undertaking and I certainly do not want anyone to think otherwise!
That said- if you love kids, have the huge amount of time available that is required, and want to "make a difference" in these young lives (plus your own) then GET INVOLVED!

We need Hotel Captain couples willing to share a room and be on site from December 8 thru December 13.
There will be two days of basic training offered on November 18, 20 from 6:30 to 10:00 PM.
Then on Saturday November 21, there will be two periods of on site hotel training.
The couples will be required to attend either one of the basic training dates and the on site training date.
